Creative Exterior Solutions Ltd (CES) specialise in custom themed play areas, from Lake themes, Puzzle and Games inspiration, Oak tree's, Natural Play, or where ever your imagination takes you! We work with accredited ROSPA inspectors (in the UK), trusted Play Area Manufacturers, and carefully ensure compliance with BS EN 1176/77 and BS ISO 4980:2023 (Notably Benefit Risk Assessments). Another important part of our work is listening to Children who are the real experts!

Sport
CES design and project manage innovative Multi-use Games, following a research project with Cardiff University in 2025 called HERpark. Please click on the link below for further info!
At CES we have designed, restored, or implemented many sport facilities from Tennis Courts (Acrylic), Cricket, and Multiuse Games Areas (In EPDM, Polymeric, and Acrylic specialist Surfaces). Mark's previous employment also widened the companies knowledge in Artificial Turf Design and installation, implementing full size Artificial Hockey Fields. We typically partner with Civil & Geotechnical Engineers (depending on the project) during design.
Exercise
The 2024 Health Survey for England (HSE) found 30% of adults over 16 had clinical obesity, with an estimated 11 million more obese adults in the UK by 2030, accruing up diabetes, mellitus, stroke, and cancer by 100'000's new cases, with associated medical costs set to increase by £1.9–2.0B per year by 2030.
